Illuminator Model 4170 Specifications

Blu-u ModelThe BLU-U® blue light photodynamic therapy illuminator is a compact light source comprised of 7 horizontally mounted U-shaped fluorescent tubes with a sheet metal chassis. The tubes are covered by a polycarbonate shield that directs cooling airflow within the unit and significantly minimizes the risk of glass-patient contact in the event of tube breakage. The BLU-U is mounted on a floor stand which provides 3-axis adjustment for rapid patient positioning.
